About Zahra Counselling
Salaam! I’m Zeinab — a future Islamic counsellor bridging the gap between logic and lived experience, with a heart for Muslim women’s healing.
I completed a degree in Mathematics and Statistics and spent over a decade working in the NHS in data management (yes, spreadsheets can be therapeutic), but then made a life-shifting decision: to move from analysing numbers to understanding people. I’m now in the final year of my Level 4 Islamic Counselling training and on the path to becoming a BACP-accredited counsellor, with an integrative approach drawing on both Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Existential Psychotherapy.
Zahra Counselling is designed with the needs of Muslim women in mind, but we warmly welcome all seeking support— women who, like all of us, juggle faith, family, identity, and the unexpected plot twists life throws our way.
Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem issues, overwhelm, identity struggles, relationship challenges, or just feel a bit “off” and don’t know why — I’m here for you.
Counselling with me is faith-informed, values-centred, and never one-size-fits-all. I offer online sessions, so you can connect from the comfort of your own space.
Sound like something you need? Let’s talk.
Book your first session today — and let’s begin the journey toward clarity, calm, and connection, together.
In faith and healing,
Zeinab R.
